This is me

I believe now more than ever that we should be ourselves, without apology.

Not a work version of yourself, not a filtered version that is so far removed from the one who sits on the sofa at home once the laptop is closed, but a true, authentic, unapologetic you.

Now, you might be thinking, but hang on, my ideal client doesn’t want that.  They need a certain type of person presented to them.  If that’s the case, then are they really your ideal client?

I follow someone on Instagram and every other word out of her mouth is f*ck.  Some people find this offensive, but the people she attracts to work with her are her type of people.  They join in with the swearing and don’t bat an eyelid at her no BS, no nonsense attitude.  And she is unapologetic about it.  If that’s not your bag, that’s cool, there’s plenty of other coaches out there.  But there’s also plenty of people who like her style and follow her for that reason.

Ask yourself, what are the things that I:

~Love to do?

~Come naturally to me?

~Are part of who I am?

The answers to these questions can be anything, from loving exercise, partying or cooking, to being organised or a good listener, to having ADHD, a young family or approaching menopause.

All of these things make up who you are.

Embrace it.  Be comfortable with it.  Be you.

When you attract clients who work without because of who you really are, not because of who you think they want, that’s when the magic happens 🙂
